Health experts widely agree that too much of fat is harmful. As a result of this, people who are overweight are urged to lose weight. Fat loss can be achieved via several means. Dieting and exercising are some of the common ways of achieving this. But although these methods are effective they cannot be used for the spot removal of fat. Laser liposuction can. Approved by the FDA, Laser Liposuction is used for the removal of fat in certain parts of the body.

The process involved in Laser Liposuction is fairly simple. The layer of fat that is found beneath the skin is slowly melted with the effects of a laser and then removed. All this is achieved via a tiny 2mm incision made into the skin. If all the melted fat is not removed , the remaining is then flushed out of the body. An anesthetic is normally used.

Even though , laser Liposuction procedures are effective, their range of use is slightly limited. Laser liposuction can only be targeted at specific areas of the body. Very little places outside the neck, face and arms can be treated with laser liposuction. This is why it is not prescribed as a way of losing weight for obese people. Instead its use is applied in only the removal of fat in certain areas of the body. It can easily be used by healthy people who carry little amounts of fat.

The use of laser liposuction is also preferred because it does not result in scarring, pain or muscle damage as found with other treatment varieties. The incision quickly heals and patients are normally found back on their feet within 48hours. Another benefit is the ability of laser liposuction to improve the overall elasticity of the skin. Traditional liposuction procedures to not offer this benefit.

As stated the recovery time of laser lipsuction procedures are very short. Because the incision is really small and done under sterile conditions there is little risk of infections or like complications. Off course you will be required to stay in bed for a period of time to allow your body adjust to the new balance. It is also a good idea, after a successful liposuction session to cut down a little on the chocolates. Or else you just might be back on the table again.

Liposuction is a cosmetic surgery procedure that is performed to remove excess fat from beneath the skin. Although liposuction is not a form of weight loss, it is a way to change the shape and contour of your body. When done properly, it is an effective means of removing excess body fat in certain areas.

Even though almost everyone can have liposuction, the best candidates for this body contouring procedure are individuals who are normal or slightly over weight, with firm, elastic skin, have pockets of excess fat in areas of their body, psychologically stable, physically healthy, and people with realistic expectations.

Although age is not a large determining factor for whether you should have liposuction or not, someone who’s skin is not very elastic may have the same problems as someone with tight skin.

Liposuction is an excellent option if you have excess fat protruding from any area of your body. Your surgeon’s goal when performing liposuction procedures is to “create a smooth, even, proportionate distribution of the fat that is left behind, so that treated areas are in balance with adjacent untreated areas.”

The reason liposuction is such an appealing cosmetic procedure to so many people is because it is minimally invasive, it has proven results, and there is a fast recovery time. Also, it can be used on many different areas of the body so that you can get the results that you want. Your cosmetic surgeon will perform your liposuction procedure with your needs and goals in mind, not what is most convenient or easy.

In women, the most common procedures are the removal of excess fat from under the chin, arms, outer thighs, waist, hips, and stomach. Men, on the other hand, tend to have liposuction performed to reduce excess fat in their “love handles,” around the waist, enlarged male breasts, and under the chin.

There are three types of liposuction performed today:

·	Traditional Liposuction

·	Ultrasonic Liposuction (Ultrasound Assisted Liposuction or UAL)

·	Tumescent Liposuction

Are you tired of sweating on the treadmill and living on celery sticks and brown rice? Do you watch reality TV shows where overweight individuals undergo seemingly magical transformations in under an hour? The popularity of reality TV shows where people undergo liposuction to get rid of those extra pounds have made plastic surgery more mainstream than ever, and why not?

Liposuction seems like a pretty attractive alternative to sweating it out in the gym. Truthfully, successful weight loss remains an elusive goal for millions of individuals, so liposuction appears an increasingly attractive weight loss option. But is it safe? Is liposuction a viable option on the path to weight loss?

Before you can determine whether liposuction is right for you, it helps to learn about the procedure. Liposuction is one of the most popular plastic surgery procedures available today. Almost all liposuction procedures are done in a very conservative manner. This means that the amount of fat removed from a patient’s body is generally small.

Although most liposuction procedures do only remove a small amount of fat, many plastic surgeons also practice large volume liposuction. Generally, large volume liposuction procedures are classified as those where over 5,000 cc of fat are removed. Large volume liposuction procedures generally require the patient to remain in the hospital for an overnight stay.

Most liposuction procedures are done under a general anesthetic. In some cases, liposuction procedures can be done under a local anesthetic. This type of sedation is generally reserved for cases where only small amounts of fat are being removed from specific locations.

What are the most common locations that individuals get treated through liposuction? The most common areas treated include the abdomen, buttock region, hips, and upper thighs. Other areas that are treated include the arms, chin, knees, and back, although these areas are not as common.

How does liposuction work, exactly? In most cases, the plastic surgeon uses a small tool called a cannulas. The cannulas is used to break up fat stored in the body while simultaneously suctioning it. The cannulas is designed so that it not only breaks up and suctions fat, but also contours the body so that no irregularities in the skin are left behind.

There are two basic forms of liposuction in use today. These two techniques are referred to as wet or tumescent techniques. The difference between these two techniques mostly involves the number of fluid that is placed in the targeted area before surgery begins. This fluid is used to reduce the amount of trauma and bruising that may affect the underlying tissues as a result of liposuction surgery.

After surgery, post-operative care tends to involve compression to the targeted area. Compression involves stretch garments that must be worn by the patient for up to three to six weeks after the surgery. In this post-operative period, a follow-up with a physician is necessary. Patients are advised to rest, and should not exercise in this period.

Once you have learned more about the procedure, you should decide if liposuction is right for you. First, ask yourself if you are interested in liposuction as a weight loss option. Is liposuction a viable weight loss option? The short answer is no. Liposuction should not be used as a weight loss treatment.

In general, liposuction is a body contour procedure, and should be treated as such. Liposuction is a surgical procedure that targets specific areas that have not responded to traditional weight loss measures. The best candidate for weight loss is someone who is at or very near their target weight, and it is not recommended for those seeking to lose more than ten pounds.

Many times, if you are set on liposuction, your doctor or surgeon may require you to lose weight before undergoing the procedure. Moreover, liposuction does not guarantee permanent weight loss. In order to maintain the final results, patients must follow a healthy diet and exercise regularly.

Also, although they are rare, complications have been known to result from liposuction surgery. Complications may include infection, puncturing of organs, embolism, swelling, burning, and scarring. If you are still interested in liposuction, make sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your specific concerns.

With all the improvements in liposuction technology and techniques that have evolved in the past thirty years or so, you can have liposuction done on pretty much any body area.

Originally, in the early 1980s, liposuction was done on the abdomen. To reduce bleeding and remove larger amounts of fat with less discomfort, tumescent liposuction was developed, where large volumes of fluid are first injected. The fluid is a saline solution (salty to match the body’s saltiness) with ingredients to shrink blood vessels and anesthetize the area. Then high-powered suction removed fluid and fat together.

That enabled people to have fatty tissue removed from much of the lower body:

· Abdomen

· Thighs

· Buttocks

· Flanks

A remaining problem was that some body areas have more fibrous fatty tissue which is harder to suction out. Examples are the back, chest and hips. In efforts to solve this problem, ultrasonic liposuction was developed in the early 1990s.

Ultrasound (vibration with sound beyond our hearing range) is used to break the fibrous cell membranes, emulsifying the fat before it is removed by suction. This approach has the added benefits of reduced bleeding and bruising, and smaller incisions because the cannulas used to remove fat are narrower. Ultrasound also helps the skin shrink over the reduced body area.

Ultrasonic liposuction is effectively used for both males and females in:

· ****** reduction

· Love handles

· Fat removal from the upper back

SmartLipo™

SmartLipo, also called laser liposuction, uses a laser to dissolve fat instead of suctioning it out of the body. This is a very different procedure from tumescent or ultrasonic liposuction, although the goal is the same. The targeted area is given local anesthetic and a very small incision is made. The laser is a hand-held device like a pen, inserted beneath the skin and moved so as to target the designated treatment areas. When the laser light is directed to fat cells, they break up instantly. The fatty fluid thus released is naturally excreted by the body’s lymphatic system.

As with all procedures using medical lasers, there is the added benefit that the laser seals the blood vessels, reducing bruising, and reducing bleeding to virtually none. It also tightens the skin’s collagen, causing the skin to shrink more tightly over the reduced body area. This is especially helpful on ****** areas.

Because of the greater precision and subtlety of laser liposuction, smaller body areas can be treated, such as:

· Below the chin

· Face

· Knees

· Waist

· Neck

· Arms

All liposuction procedures are customized. If you are wondering about your own particular areas of excess fat and whether they can be treated with some form of liposuction, the first step would be to schedule a consultation with an experienced cosmetic surgeon.

If you are in the Indianapolis, Indiana area, you could not do better than to see Dr. Richard Linderman. He has been in the vanguard of liposuction improvements since 1982 and was the first cosmetic surgeon to offer liposuction in Indianapolis.

Liposuction is a cosmetic surgery procedure that is performed to remove excess fat from beneath the skin. Although liposuction is not a form of weight loss, it is a way to change the shape and contour of your body. Many people choose Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Vasdev Rai of Dallas, Texas to perform liposuction procedures in order to remove excess fat that is too stubborn for diet and exercise.

Dr. Rai’s goal when performing liposuction procedures is to “create a smooth, even, proportionate distribution of the fat that is left behind, so that treated areas are in balance with adjacent untreated areas.”

The reason liposuction is such an appealing cosmetic procedure to so many people is because it is minimally invasive, it has proven results, and there is a fast recovery time. Also, it can be used on many different areas of the body so that you can get the results that you want. Dr. Rai will perform your liposuction procedure with your needs and goals in mind, not what is most convenient or easy.

In women, the most common procedures are the removal of excess fat from under the chin, arms, outer thighs, waist, hips, and stomach. Men, on the other hand, tend to have liposuction performed to reduce excess fat in their “love handles,” around the waist, enlarged male breasts, and under the chin.

Dr. Rai performs three types of liposuction at the Cosmetic Surgical Center in Dallas, Texas. Throughout his 20 years of medical experience, Dr. Rai has performed over 10,000 cosmetic surgeries. Many of those surgeries have been liposuction procedures such as:

·	Traditional Liposuction

·	Ultrasonic Liposuction (Ultrasound Assisted Liposuction or UAL)

·	Tumescent Liposuction

Liposuction is the number one cosmetic surgery procedure in the United States, and is also Dr. Rai’s most popular procedure among his patients.

Even though liposuction is considered cosmetic surgery it still has some of the same risks as any other type of surgery. A good Manhattan liposuction specialist can make all the difference in the outcome of your liposuction procedure. You want the best results possible and here are some tips for choosing the right Manhattan plastic surgeon.

Where – Lipsuction can be done in a variety of places, from a cosmetic surgeons office up to a major hospital. The right setting is important, but not nearly as important as the cosmetic surgeon doing the procedure.

What Cosmetic Surgeon – Honestly any doctor can perform liposuction, so make sure you’re working with aboard certified plastic surgeon for the very best results. There are no laws regarding the type of training that needs to be done prior to performing liposuction. Do your research and make sure that your cosmetic surgeon is both trained and experienced. They should have the knowledge and skills to ensure that your liposuction is successful.

The Cosmetic Surgeons Role – The cosmetic surgeon should do a complete evaluation prior to agreeing to accept you as a patient. This should include a review of your general health as well as your reasons for having liposuction. The doctor should inquire about any past medical history as well as any medications you may be taking currently. Naturally he will evaluate your current body fat percentage as well as the elasticity of your skin. Your cosmetic surgeon should then be able to make a determination of your best liposuction technique to ensure great results.

What to do if you choose the wrong doctor – Mistakes do occur, even to the most vigilant of us. There are a very low percentage of liposuction patients who have serious complications, but if you choose the wrong doctor your chances of a poor surgery increase dramatically. Even if you don’t have complications there is an increased chance that you’ll have a result you didn’t want and aren’t happy with.

Choosing the right liposuction surgeon – These are my 4 tips to choosing the right liposuction surgeon.

Check out the facilities that your cosmetic surgeon will be using for the liposuction procedure. They should be in good repair, clean and sanitary. Ask for a tour prior to the surgery. Any good plastic surgeon will be happy to show you the facilities and answer any questions you might have.

Educate yourself about liposuction. You don’t need to be an expert, but you should have a basic understanding of the different types of liposuction and how it works. This will also aid you in asking the right questions when searching for a liposuction specialist.

Don’t just pick the first plastic surgeon you talk to, take the time to speak with several before making a decision. If there are people that you trust who’ve already had liposuction or another plastic surgery get their opinion. Your primary care physician could be another good source of information about good plastic surgeons.

Research the doctor’s background and history. Make sure they are well trained and experienced and hopefully board certified to practice liposuction.

New York is a large diverse city and finding a great liposuction doctor should be easy. Just take your time when choosing a Manhattan liposuction surgeon and you shouldn’t have any trouble. Just keep in mind that you’re dealing with your health and appearance and you should be able to make a good decision.

If you are undecided about where or how to get a good liposuction surgeon, you can patronize several sources such as the internet or get a referral. Your personal doctor can give you a referral to an excellent liposuction surgeon. You can also get a tangible idea about how to get a good plastic surgeon from your general practitioner.

A person who is suffering from AIDS is a very poor candidate for liposuction because the immune system has been jeopardized. If an AIDS sufferer falls ill before a liposuction operation, death may follow because of the weak immune system. If you have AIDS, try and stick to more conventional ways of weight loss.

It’s not all joy and happiness as far as liposuction is concerned. There are often complications, just like any other thing in life. One common surgical complication in a liposuction is pulmonary edema. Pulmonary edema is the formation of a blood clot in the process of a liposuction and the sojourn of that blood clot to areas of the body such as the leg or the heart. When a blood clot gets to the heart, it becomes total and may end up killing a liposuction patient.

Liposuction is a form of surgery that is not limited to the theater. It can be done in a doctor’s office or an out patient center if it is not a complicated one. This type of liposuction is generally not expensive.

Liposuction is a process of removing fat from the body but it is not a substitute for diets and exercise. Taking diets that are nutritionally rich helps keep the body in shape and going for regular exercises enable the body to stay fit. Liposuction is expected to be the last option after diet and exercise have failed.

Patients who undergo liposuction feel depressed often. It is worse when it is about three days after surgery. Sometimes the depression lasts for weeks.

Before you go in for liposuction, define clearly your goals as this will help you select the appropriate technique for your surgery better. If you are not sure about what to expect from a liposuction procedure, don’t hesitate to ask questions and get informative answer. With liposuction, the more information you equip yourself with, the less ill at ease you will feel.

The cost for a liposuction procedure will be hinged on how much liposuction you want performed on your body. The cost of liposuction may also be dictated by the doctor who performs it or the location of the practice.

Many people want to have liposuction. There is a reason why it is the most popular surgical procedure in 2005 based on ASAPS(American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery). On the flip side many of the same people are concerned with the pain, risks and recovery times associated with a surgical cosmetic procedure like liposuction. This is where the quest for a liposuction alternative begins. Are there really alternatives to liposuction that are both effective and safe?

Liposuction has been used in the world of body contouring and shaping since the 70s. The liposuction procedures work to remove fats from areas that can include:

* Abdomen

* Thighs

* Knees

* Hips

* Buttocks

* Chin

Liposuction comes with the customary risks associated with surgery. Some are minor but some major risks exist particularly when anesthesia is involved. Recovery time is also a consideration depending on where you are having the fat removed and how much your are having done. These concerns drive the need for a valid liposuction alternative.

The most basic and common sense liposuction alternative revolves around changing your lifestyle to a more healthy one. Diet and exercise are a fundamental part of fat reduction. Some people have the discipline and the guidance that allow them to succeed in this area but others tend to go so far and reach a peak when it comes to fat reduction. People concerned with certain areas of the body like the abdomen or the chin may find that they can’t lose that last bit of fat no matter how hard they exercise and how well they eat.

For people who really wish to get rid of excess fats without surgery, you have several options to choose from. You need to be advised though that the results may not be as instant as liposuction. They do help you to reduce pain, risks, recovery time and costs.

Some Available Liposuction Alternatives

Depending on the area involved your liposuction alternatives may vary. Some liposuction alternatives that we have found are:

1. Thermage

2. Lipodissolve

3. Mesotherapy

4. Liposelection

Mesotherapy and Liposelection appear to be better for the bigger parts of the body. While Thermage and Lipodissolve seem to work better for the face, neck and chin.

Thermage is a liposuction alternative that uses heated lasers to tighten the patient’s skin on different areas of the body as well as the face. This procedure is considered a pain-free liposuction alternative and has been a common alternative for face lifts.

Lipodissolve is a procedure where fats are flushed out through the urine. The areas with unwanted fat are injected with medications and enzymes, which causes fat to dissolve and to be flushed out. Lipodissolve and mesotherapy are similar but lipodissolve is the liposuction alternative that is recommenced for removing excess fats on the face, especially the neck and chin areas.

If you need to work other areas aside from the face, neck and chin, another liposuction alternative called mesotherapy can be your best bet. This procedure has been used for many years to reduce cellulite. Similar to lipodissolve a patient is injected with a combination of substances. In this case medications, holistic compounds and amino acids are used.

Liposelection is the last liposuction alternative we will discuss. This treatment works by filling the fatty areas with saline solution to restrict the patient’s blood flow while breaking the fat tissues. Ultrasound energy is transmitted into the area for softening the fats and then taken out using suction and massage. In some ways this sounds like Ultrasound Assisted Liposuction but is said to be less painful.

These liposuction alternatives are not yet approved and you should know that the only proven method of removing fat cells is liposuction. However, these alternatives could work for patients who require small treatments. There are more options that are popping up every day but you need to consider their safety. We’ve also noticed a trend in trying to brand certain procedures even though they are very similar to each other. Research each liposuction alternative carefully.

Liposuction was originally designed for body contouring. Liposuction is one of the commonest and most popular cosmetic procedures for removal of localised areas of fat. ****** liposuction is a youth-enhancing cosmetic procedure that is quickly becoming a popular choice among men and women alike. Some patients are genetically predisposed to carry excess fat in their jaw line, creating a jowl-ed appearance. Liposuction surgery is not a treatment for obesity. Liposuction surgery can be of many types such as, ****** liposuction and stomach liposuction. Liposuction Surgery should be thought of as a way of improving the contour and shape of the body rather than as an easy way of losing weight. ****** Liposuction may be done alone. In older patients, it may produce optimal results when combined with a facelift, browlift, eyelid or nose surgery. This surgical liposuction procedure may involve either an intra-oral or extra-oral incision.

Liposuction surgery is also referred to as lipoplasty or lip sculpture. Liposuction surgery in fact is a plastic surgery procedure which reshapes the body part by getting rid of unwanted fat by suction from specific fat pockets. ****** liposuction does present some possible risks to the patient and will be discussed prior to the operation. Asymmetry, hematoma, lumpiness, and numbness are possible. ****** liposuction in most cases is able to make a dramatic change in the way a person looks by removing the excess fat from under the cheeks, chin and neck. ****** and neck liposuction is an effective liposuction procedure for removing localized fatty deposits in the undersurface of the neck area and the neck region. It is also effective in region in front of the ears. Some persons are at higher risk of complications due to liposuction surgery.

A pregnant woman must never resort to liposuction surgery. One thing most prospective patients should know is that liposuction is a real medical procedure. It requires incisions and sutures, and a lengthy recovery time. Many people confuse liposuction with a tummy tuck. However, these are not the same procedure. Sometimes they go together, but lipo is the more popular alternative in today’s culture. ****** liposuction surgery is an excellent procedure that can benefit those who want to remove unsightly fat deposits from localized areas of the face. This technique can be performed in a specially equipped doctor’s office using local anesthesia and the recovery is usually rapid. Microcannalicular liposuction is an outpatient procedure performed through tiny incisions under the jaw line or at the bottom of the ear. Patients are generally quite comfortable as they recover at home with a ****** bandage under the chin to provide mild compression.

Liposuction Philippines

Despite good health and a reasonable level of fitness, some people may still have body profile with disproportionate contours that is due to localized fat deposits. These patients are not happy or pleased with their body contour and may have body disproportionality. Our body fat deposits are affected by multiple factors; this can be due to changes in hormone level that slows down the body metabolism, stress and psychological behavior that may increase our oral intake of nutrients beyond our need and genetic characteristics of an individual that may predispose them to overweight or obesity.

Suction Assisted Lipectomy or commonly known as Liposuction is a procedure that slims, reshapes, contours and restore body proportion thus, enhancing self-image of the patient. Liposuction is a surgical aspiration of fat under the skin leaving a more pleasing contour and smooth transition between regions of the body. Liposuction is one of the most commonly performed cosmetic procedures worldwide by certified cosmetic plastic surgeons.

There are several kinds or techniques to perform a liposuction procedure. The three most commonly performed techniques are the tumescent or superwet liposuction, Ultrasound-assisted lipoplasty and Laser or SMART Liposuction. The tumescent or super-wet technique requires an infusion of saline solution mixed with adrenaline to facilitate the aspiration or removal of excess fat. Ultrasound-assisted lipoplasty uses ultrasonic energy that liquefies the fat prior to surgical suctioning. While Laser or SMART liposuction is quite similar with ultrasound assisted technique in which fats is initially dissolve and then aspirated. There was a sudden increase in demand for SMART/Laser liposuction and Ultrasound lipoplasty when this was introduced in the market because it was believed to have more superior results than the traditional method. However, in our experience, the advantage that Laser Liposuction offers patients are improved pain control after surgery and body swelling is significantly less compared to the traditional tumescent technique. With regards to the result, all the 3 techniques are just the same. There is no superiority of one method over the other in attaining a pleasing body contour.

Liposuction is more of an art than just a surgical procedure. This procedure demands a good grasp of anatomy and body proportionality. This is why liposuction is better termed as liposculpturing. The body parts or areas of the body that can be treated by liposuction are the abdomen, flanks or love handle, hips and buttocks, upper and lower back, arms, axilla or armpit (for treatment of hyperhydrosis), thighs and knees, chin and chest area (specially for gynecomastia). The procedure is done by aspirating the subcutaneous fats with the use of a metal pen like liposuction cannulas through a small skin incision. This small incision is placed at the natural folds of the body so that the resulting scar will be concealed or inconspicuous.

This is performed as an outpatient procedure in a fully equipped ambulatory surgical facility. But patients with multiple procedure or prefer to relax immediately after the surgery, will be admitted for a day or two. Wether the procedure will be performed as an Out-Patient or as a hospital procedure, preoperative laboratory and medical clearance (For patient 40 y/o and above, Medical condition that required treatment) is required. This is done a day before the surgery. The procedure can be performed either under local anesthesia or deep sedation depending on the extent of the procedure. After the procedure, incision site will soak for 2 to 3 days and eventually dries on the 4th to 5th day. All patients are instructed to strictly apply or wear pressure garments for 2 to 3 weeks at all body parts addressed by liposuction. The pressure garment will help the skin redrape to underlying muscles thus obliterating the space left after aspirating the fat and also control the swelling. This will assist and enhance the healing process. Sutures are removed on the 7th or 9th day after surgery.

Patients are always advised that there will be swelling and some bruising after the surgery. This is temporary and may resolve after 1 to 2 weeks. The initial result may be noted after 2 to 4 weeks since much of the swelling had subsided. However, the final result will be appreciated by the 2nd to 6th month after surgery.

Patients planning to have this procedure will be required to allot 8 to 14 days for the initial consultation, laboratory, medical clearance, surgery, follow up, suture removal and early recuperation. After this, the patient is safe to travel since all wounds are already dry and healed.

Possible risks and complications:

Liposuction is one of the most frequently performed cosmetic surgery procedures – a procedure to remove excess fat through a process of aspiration. A small incision is made into the skin, where a thin surgical instrument is inserted to remove fat cells and then suction is used to remove grease. Liposuction is typically associated with the weight loss, but it is in fact not an ideal solution to the obesity and overweight for those who in spite of his reputation. A good diet and exercise is more effective and safe method. Liposuction tends to be more suited for those who are not overweight, but simply want to remove fat from areas most stubborn areas that are not independently slimmer of the year. It must therefore be associated with the sculpture of the body is not just weight loss. Liposuction is usually administered under general anesthesia. Developments on the process include liposuction “tumescent technique, which involves the initial injection of a large volume of saline water in the grease that allows the use of thinner tools to extract fat, more often reducing the discomfort and scarring.

Another method is ultrasonic liposuction ultrasonic waves to emulsify fat before its extraction. This method allows a greater amount of fat removed, and usually with less blood loss. This method can produce more and skin damage is more expensive, so the financing of the transaction may be difficult.Liposuction also a number of dangers associated with it and, of course, a physician will be the a better position to provide advice about the possibility Complications. Some complications are known to include infection and hypothermia. It is important that the doctor has any surgical training, is accredited and has a lot of experience. There are hundreds of surgeries worldwide, the reputation of Los Angeles liposuction surgeries, as well as other big cities like New York and Chicago is often very good. Many patients have found liposuction a valuable investment, and can justify its funding. However, liposuction does not always produce the results people think it will – for example, it may be more loose skin visible due to the fat that was previously argued. However, we can remove some of the weight that is pulling the skin, which can cause a tightening of the skin.

Financially, liposuction is also very expensive for cosmetic surgery. Procedures cost several thousand dollars, in most cases, and therefore the cost is often prohibitive factor. When a prospective patient is considering whether they can justify substantial funding from liposuction, they should ask themselves whether a natural alternative as a good exercise regime and diet may be more appropriate. Healthy approaches not only the aesthetic advantage, but also to contribute to the physical and mental health and are often more satisfying than the “miracles” that liposuction has the reputation – and less burden on the finances. However, there are many businesses catering specifically for liposuction financing, as well as assistance in budgeting for a variety of other forms of cosmetic surgery. This is a trend that many people seem to be more – the surgery done immediately through a financing system which involves the payment of the surgery off over several years. Liposuction cost should not be the only factor prohibitive.

Patients should always ensure that they receive advice about liposuction just a physician – not someone who works in an office of cosmetic surgery trying to sell surgery rather than assessing if it is indeed fit to be patient. Some surgeries have earned a reputation for trying to convince the potential client to pay the substantial costs liposuction showing photos before and after liposuction and photos of satisfied customers. Others may try to convince potential customers that the cost should not be a burden due to liposuction financing options. There is a growing number of published information on new cosmetic procedures, and it is of course only to the individual to make the decision.

By: Juliet Cohen

About the Author:

Ultrasound-Assisted Liposuction also called Vaser Liposuction. The liposuction method uses a cannula which transmits ultrasound vibration within the body. The ultrasound vibration will burst the walls of the fat cells and liquefying the fat. This will make it easier for the suction.

Ultrasound-Assisted Liposuction has slightly less blood loss comparing to the old tumescent liposuction. However comparing to Water-Assisted Liposuction, Ultrasound-Assisted Liposuction has more blood loss.

Ultrasound-Assisted Liposuction produces heat when performing the surgery. The ultrasound vibration produces heat which can be harmful to the body. This heat can leave irregularity of skin or permanent ugly scars after the surgery.

Water-Assisted Liposuction produces no heat when performing the surgery. A thin fan-shaped water beam cannula is used with Water-Assisted Liposuction. This cannula is really helpful when performing liposuction. It adds water continually during the liposuction session.

The water that the cannula adds will help loosing the fat cells in the body. The fat will be ****** very easily.

Water-Assisted Liposuction will not leave irregularity of skin or permanent ugly scars. More over the suction capability of Water-Assisted Liposuction is 10 times more than Ultrasound-Assisted Liposuction.

Water-Assisted Liposuction has a suction capability of 2000 – 3000 cc. per session while Ultrasound-Assisted Liposuction has lower suction capability of 400 – 500 cc. per session.

The recovery time of Water-Assisted Liposuction is better. It’s only takes 7 – 10 days. Also this method is less pain, bruise and swelling.

Therefore Water-Assisted Liposuction is better than Ultrasound-Assisted Liposuction.

Water-Assisted Liposuction helps you reduce your costs because in one session of the operation you can get rid of more fat. This method is also the safer way comparing to Ultrasound-Assisted Liposuction.

Normally a surgeon will let you have a general anesthesia before the liposuction. Water-Assisted Liposuction is different. It does only require a local anesthesia. You can discuss with your surgeon during the surgery about the seeing result. This means the result is adjustable with your help to the surgeon.

Please be aware that all cosmetic surgery procedures have their risks. To know more about the risk you can consult with the surgeons before having the surgery. Many surgeons don’t add consultation fee before the surgery. You can find out more about the price on their websites.

Finally you should find out if the surgeon is board certified and licensed to perform cosmetic surgery.

If you’re looking for an affordable liposuction option, then now is a great time to be searching. The reason it’s a great time to look for liposuction options that fit within your budget is a combination of a few things: the decrease in technology prices, the techniques being used to perform liposuction, and the new procedures that give liposuction-like results without having to be invasive fat-sucking surgeries that require many weeks of recovery. In this short discourse, you’ll be given food-for-thought, and more education on whether or not liposuction is a good investment for you.

The Affordable Liposuction Rubric and Guideline

Perhaps the main reason people are getting liposuction is similar to the reason you may be researching whether or not it’s right for you. You wish to get rid of troublesome fat that just won’t go away, you’ve tried every diet, and nothing is working, and you’re just ready to get the body you’ve always wanted. These are valid reasons why anyone would want to get liposuction surgery done, but is it enough to solidify whether or not liposuction is affordable or not?

What you’re going to understand at the end of this article is that affordable liposuction is a term many people equate with money, but should not. Affordable liposuction is an investment on your wellbeing (self-esteem, bodily health, etc), and should be seen as an investment, and not as a mere purchase. You’re going to be given the top 3 guidelines to understanding what affordable liposuction is, and if it is truly a good investment. Those three guidelines are: recovery time, the “Will It Make me Happy?” question, and lastly, Pricing. These guidelines are very generic, and should not be seen as the only rubric by which you weigh the decision, but these are great ways to begin your research to find the best liposuction procedure available to you.

Recovery Time of Liposuction:

The first thing you must take into consideration when looking for affordable liposuction options is the amount of recovery needed after the cosmetic procedure is done. If you’re unsure of this, there are three ways to find out a ballpark estimate of how long it will take you (to be out of work, away from family, and unable to do activities that you normally do).

You can search the web for people (blogs, forums, Yahoo! Answers, and other sites) who have gone through a similar procedure; they can let you in on how long it took them to recover. Ask friends or aquainences who have had liposuction surgery how long it took them to recover, and what activities they could and could not do afterward. Probe your surgeon. Once you’ve found the surgeon you wish to do your procedure, ask him what he/she expects from your recovery (and what other patients experience).

This will give you a clear idea of many things: hours away from work, days away from family/friends doing activities, and other things along those lines.

“Will it Make Me Happy?” – The Big Question:

If you’re looking for affordable liposuction on the basis of making yourself happy about your body, then you need to go through a checklist of questions that will allude to your self-image. You want to be sure that you’re going through liposuction for the proper reasons, because surgery is not reversible, and is quite an investment for those who will pick apart their body. Here are a few questions to judge whether or not you will be happy with your liposuction procedure:

Do I pick apart my body now for every detail that I see as wrong with it? Will I continue with my bad eating and exercising habits afterward? Do I critique my body compared to other women on TV and in the gym?

If you answered a definite “Yes” to all of these questions, no matter how affordable liposuction is, it will NOT make you happy. Learn to enjoy the skin you’re in now, and then liposuction will enhance that body to give you even more enjoyable.

Affordable Liposuction Pricing:

As seen through this article, affordable liposuction is not just about the price, it is about the value you’re going to put on it. However, a big hang up for many people is that they don’t have the actual funds to do certain cosmetic procedures, and this is definitely an obstacle. That is why it’s important to ask the “Big Question”. The big question will allow you to see if you’re going to appreciate your investment or not. However, if you do have the funds, then pricing is not going to be a big deal.

Unfortunately, there is no real definite price that can be given to you right now. That takes searching and researching. Here are three helpful tips to get you started on finding the right price for your affordable liposuction procedure:

Decide what you want to have done. Are you looking to get fat removed from your thighs, stomach, neck, and arms? Write down your perfect body, what fat you want removed, and this is a great starting point, and the foundation onto which the pricing will be determined and built Talk to several surgeons around you. They’ll give you an estimate of the cost of all the desired removals. This will also allow you to determine which surgeon you wish to see for your procedure. Trim your list. If all of the prices are a little too high, then trim some of the “desired removals” off of your list, and then ask again. This will give you lower prices considering many cosmetic procedures are done based on the areas of the body from which fat is removed.

Tummy tuck and Liposuction has always been the two top choices of cosmetic surgery that are focused in reducing excess fats in different areas of the body. While choosing to undergo a tummy tuck, liposuction or both can be a confusing decision, the only way to weigh the advantages and disadvantages of these procedures is to understand how each reduces fat.

Tummy tucks are recommended for people that have lost excessive amounts of weight produce drooping skin folds. After a liposuction, tummy tuck can also be used to tighten the skins that become loose after removing fat deposits. On the other hand, skin usually shrinks after a liposuction procedure, making it unnecessary to undergo additional tummy tucks.

For most people, undergoing liposuction could easily correct their problem. Compare to liposuction, tummy tucks can be a traumatic procedure due to its 2-feet-long incisions from one hip to the next. In addition, the belly button is usually moved downward after a tummy tuck. During a liposuction surgery, only tiny, barely visible incisions are made.

The Risks in Combining Tummy Tuck and Liposuction Procedures

Majority of deaths associated with liposuction are patients that have undergone multiple procedures, such as tummy tucks. While looking for cosmetic surgery promotions that offer “buy two, take one surgeries” can seem like a great deal, be aware of the consequences of undergoing a tummy tuck, liposuction and a combination of both.

Liposuction is generally safe when the procedure is “closed”. Meaning, only a little incision is made. When this happens, only few germs can be able to get into entrance wounds, which increases the body’s potential in defending against possible infections.

When tummy tuck and liposuction are combined, additional germs are likely to enter the wounds. Combining tummy tuck and liposuction could also lead to a significant decrease in blood supply, particularly in the around he areas being treated. Both the entrance of germs and loss of blood supply contribute to harmful results that could be experienced after having a tummy tuck liposuction combination.

For this reason, it is best to ask different advices from cosmetic surgeons to make an informed decision whether to ask for a tummy tuck, liposuction or a combination of both.

Liposuction is one of the most requested body contouring procedures available. A surgical tube, referred to as a cannula, removes stubborn localized fat deposits that are unresponsive to traditional diet and exercise. As a surgical procedure, it is important to take liposuction seriously.

The ensuing information provides advice on how to prepare for liposuction. They are general guidelines and should not take the place of communication with a liposuction doctor. Locate a qualified surgeon at DocShop.com and schedule an appointment for more detailed instructions on preparing for the day of your liposuction procedure.

Schedule a Consultation for You Liposuction Procedure

A pre-operative appointment is necessary prior to liposuction. The doctor will conduct a medical examination to evaluate your physical health and psychological well-being. During the consultation, you will enter into a candid conversation with the surgeon. After describing your expectations, the doctor will explain what can realistically be achieved through liposuction. You should also be well informed of the risks and benefits.

The liposuction doctor will provide you with details on the type of liposuction procedure, whether anesthesia is local or general and liposuction prices. If you prefer to make monthly payments, make sure to request information about financing options. Many surgeons work directly with lending institutions and can help arrange for financing at the outpatient facility.

Tell the doctor about any medications you are taking. Be sure to include information about vitamins and herbal supplements.

Prepare for the Day of Your Liposuction Procedure a Few Weeks in Advance

The doctor’s office will provide detailed instructions on how to prepare for the day of your liposuction procedure. There will be a list of medications to avoid, such as aspirin and anti-inflammatory drugs. Some herbal supplements and vitamins may also be on the list.

If you smoke, you will need to quit a few weeks prior to liposuction surgery. Smoking is a hindrance to the circulatory system and increases vulnerability to infection. Smoking should also be avoided for the weeks following your liposuction procedure.

Some liposuction doctors will offer advisement on home preparations during early post-operative recovery. Plenty of ice packs may be necessary. Antibacterial soap is another common recommendation.

Prepare the Day Before Your Liposuction Procedure

Be sure to take care of any last minute errands. Depending on the anesthesia, you may not be able to eat or drink the night before your liposuction surgery. If you are returning home directly following the procedure, make arrangements for a friend or relative to drive and stay with you for a couple of days.

The Day of Your Liposuction Procedure

Many liposuction procedures can be performed in an outpatient facility. The surgery can take up to five hours, depending on the volume of the procedure and whether combined with another cosmetic surgery. Once the procedure is complete, you may be allowed to return home.

Recovery From Your Liposuction Procedure

Moderate discomfort is normal during the first few days after liposuction. Other side effects are numbness, bruising, swelling and bleeding. Wearing a compression garment over the area is necessary to minimize swelling and help with recovery.

You should be able to resume most normal activities within a week or two. Bear in mind, liposuction results occur gradually. Many patients temporarily gain weight due to increased fluid retention. It can take up to four months before the results of your surgery become apparent.

One of the most frequently asked questions that people interested in undergoing liposuction surgery is “How much does liposuction cost?”. As the matter of fact it is impossible to give the right answer. As there are numerous liposuction procedures, liposuction prices will vary from procedure to procedure. Tumescent Liposuction costs depend on the number and size of the areas treated. Prices also vary in different parts of the country and from doctor to doctor. Liposuction costs is one primary concern for people thinking about getting a liposuction. You should seriously consider your finances first if you are intent on undergoing liposuction.

Liposuction Costs

In reality it is not very easy to come up with an exact estimate of liposuction costs because the figures will vary depending on certain circumstances and factors. On the average, people spend around $2,500 for liposuction. A reasonable price however may be anywhere from $1,500-$8,000. It has not been unheard of however to have procedures that cost as much as $12,000-20,000.

Naturally, different areas in the body, size of the area, the extent of body fat and single or multiple procedures affect liposuction price. As a general idea, the upper abdomen and the ******* are the most expensive areas to perform liposuction on. The lower abdomen, thighs, calves and arms may fetch lower prices. Some surgeons may also charge higher fees for sensitive areas like the face.

Compared to women, men are charged higher fees. Men generally have tougher, more fibrous fats because of their biological structures. They also have a wider body area than females.

The surgeon’s skill and qualifications are also factors in determining liposuction cost. An experienced, established, accredited and reputable doctor would naturally charge a higher fee. A different fee may also be requested for the anesthesiologist or other surgeon assistants. A doctor may choose to offer a package deal for the entire procedure especially if you have to return for succeeding sessions.

Liposuction costs are also affected by type of equipment, type of procedure, type of anesthesia, kind of facility, lab tests and compression garments.

Thinking of the Cost

Knowing the approximate liposuction costs would tell you just how feasible the procedure is for you as far as finances is concerned. Options for scouting liposuction costs may even include online price tables and inquiring about the cost directly from your doctor. A good idea would be to list down all the possible factors that may affect price and ask your doctor how much he charges for each. Be careful. Not all doctors may be able to give you the exact pricing details and you may just be stuck with an unmentioned item later. Be detailed in inquiring about liposuction costs.

Packages and Bargains

Doctors may offer you liposuction price packages for different reasons. A reasonable bargain would be quite understandable but be suspicious of liposuction costs that are way too low. Cheap prices most often reflect the quality of service that your doctor is also willing to perform. If you are intent on having the procedure then be prepared to spend. Your safety and health is not something you should bargain over.

Insurance

Liposuction can be a risk on your part. Since it is not considered as a medical surgery or as a procedure for medical condition, it is therefore not covered by insurance. Some insurance policies however may allow the coverage of liposuction if it is necessary for a known medical condition.

Male vs. Female: The fat is more difficult to remove in men than it is in women. This is because the fat is more fibrous, or tougher, and it takes longer to remove than fat in women. Also, men in general are larger than women. Therefore, the costs for male liposuction are somewhat higher.

Financing

Though there does exist a sector for cosmetic surgery financing, these are generally expensive and it’s better to get credit card cash advances and lines of credit from the bank. However, be sure to check all your options because the doctor’s office may have connections for financing in the industry.

Liposuction is the most popular cosmetic enhancement today. If you’ve been thinking about doing something for your body then maybe it’s time to talk to a plastic surgeon about it. Good luck with your search, and remember to keep yourself informed.

Liposuction was originally used in treating cellulites that are found in woman’s body parts, of all ages. During the first years of this discovery, many people believed that liposuction is the greatest inventions because it could treat skin irregularities.

According to various studies, cellulite and liposuction go hand in hang because this surgical procedure helps in the removal of unwanted fats beneath the skin, which causes the bulky, orange-peel look called cellulites.

While the accumulation of cellulite and liposuction procedure can keep your skin smooth free of sags and silky, liposuction is still not considered as a method for weight loss or as a treatment for cellulite. The hips, neck, chin, cheeks, upper arms, abdomen, thighs, buttocks and knees are common areas that build up cellulite and liposuction can remove these unwanted fats instantly.

The Effectiveness of Liposuction and Cellulite Treatments

Cellulite and liposuction go together perfectly. However, when performed alone, liposuction is not a complete solution for treating cellulites. Liposuction and cellulite treatments like Mesotherapy, Endermologie and Thermage can be an effective combination in warding off those unwanted rippling of the skin.

Although many people are claiming the effectiveness of liposuction in cellulite removal, there are no scientific explanations to prove these claims. In fact, the resulting lax skin after a liposuction procedure could increase the appearance of cellulites.

Along with removal of cellulite and liposuction, new and advanced non-surgical techniques are being developed to smooth down deep tissues that cause dimpling of skin. By focusing on increasing blood flow, new treatments for cellulite and liposuction combined can achieve in an improved general cellular function and reduced fatty tissues.

If you wish to remove your cellulite and liposuction is the first thing you considered, it is best to shop around for additional non-surgical methods to help in obtaining your desired smooth, dimple-free, silky skin.

Although removing cellulite and liposuction procedures combined with other methods, could take some dedicate, time and money, these treatments are all worth it once you feel the smooth skin that were once your problem areas.

In order to ensure the removal of cellulite and liposuction procedures will not yield complications or side effects, it is best to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon to be able to make an informed decision on which surgical and non-surgical options will solve your cellulite problems for good.

Breast liposuction is very effective in both men and women because they contain fat tissue and not muscles, therefore they can be reduced successfully in one session in most cases depending on age and present state of health.

Most liposuction interventions do not need hospitalization, as the whole procedure takes approximately couple of hours and is done with local anesthesia. The recovery from such operations takes approximately 3 to 4 months depending on the intervention and the present health condition of the patient. There are however, a variety of after liposuction treatments and procedures that need to be followed precisely in order for the area to heal as desired.

Recovery from Liposuction

The patient will experience lumps and bruises for a period of time depending from person to person but they will all disappear in a few months if you follow the exact direction of the doctor. Another important point will be the diet, which yet again needs to be followed precisely or else it can cause complications and further interventions may be necessary.

Breast liposuction is a essential surgery for those who suffer from the size but also a stressful experience for at least a couple of months until it starts healing; all the support from family and friends will be needed at this time as it may get difficult at times getting through this experience on your own.

What Are the Chances of Liposuction to Be a Success?

Breast liposuction is performed on a daily basis and if you follow the direction as given by the doctor, you have 100% changes to have a successful liposuction and the size of desired. Large are at times a big burden in both men and women because they are uncomfortable and many times damaging to one’s appearance especially in men.

Get the look you desire with liposuction today; check with your medical insurance as, if the size of yore affect your health you may be covered for the liposuctions cost partially or even fully depending on the insurance company and the type of health insurance you have.

A good candidate for liposuction should have realistic expectations about the results of this procedure as well as these basic qualities: Average or slightly above-average weight, firm, elastic skin good overall health, concentrated pockets of fat that do not respond well to diet and exercise

What Do I Need To Know Before Undergoing Liposuction?

During an initial consultation your plastic surgeon will evaluated your health, assess the condition of your skin, and discuss the options that are best for you. Body contouring methods that are appropriate for your particular situation, the effectiveness and safety of the procedure, and your expectations will be discussed in detail.

Once you have decided to undergo liposuction, your plastic surgeon will give you the necessary instructions that you will need to prepare for the surgery.

How Is Liposuction Performed?

In general, liposuction procedures use small incisions in selected areas and with a high vacuum suction device attached to a small, stainless steel instrument called a cannula, remove fat cells. After the fat is removed, sutures (stitches) will be used to close the incisions, followed by the application of a dressing and compression garment (girdle) to minimize the post-operative swelling.

Are There Different Liposuction Techniques?

Though the basics of liposuction remain the same, there are different techniques that can be used during liposuction. “Tumescent Liposuction” During this technique the plastic surgeon will inject a medicated solution into the fatty areas before the fat is removed. The solution is a mixture of intravenous salt water, a local anesthetic (lidocaine) and a drug that contracts the blood vessels (epinephrine).

This fluid injection helps the fat to be removed more easily, reduces blood loss and bruising after surgery, and provides anesthesia during and after the surgery. The amount of fluid injected varies and depends on the preference of the surgeon. “Ultrasound-Assisted Lipoplasty (UAL) This technique requires the use of a special cannula that produces ultrasonic energy. As the ultrasonic energy passes through the areas of fat it causes the fat cells to liquefy. The fat is then removed with the traditional liposuction technique.

Because the fat is liquid at the time that it is removed, UAL is smoother and mechanically more efficient. UAL also minimizes trauma, resulting in less bruising and blood loss and especially improves the ease and effectiveness of liposuction in fibrous areas of the body.

What Are The Risks And Complications Of Liposuction?

Undergoing any surgical procedure may involve the risk of complications such as the effects of anesthesia, infection, swelling, bleeding, and pain. Liposuction is normally safe and with minimal risks and possible complications when patients are carefully selected, the operating facility is properly equipped, and the physician is adequately trained.

Liposuction is the most frequently performed cosmetic surgical procedure and has a very good safety record when performed in accordance with the recommendations of the Lipoplasty Society.

What Type Of Anesthesia Is Required When Having Liposuction?

Various types of anesthesia can be used for liposuction procedures. If a small of amount of fat is being removed from a limited number of areas local anesthesia with a light sedative to make you feel drowsy and relaxed may be considered. When treating larger areas, general anesthesia is typically used causing you to be asleep during the procedure. Together, you and surgeon will select the type of anesthesia that provides the most safe and effective level of comfort for your surgery.

On What Areas Of The Body Can Liposuction Be Done?

Common locations for liposuction include the chin, cheeks, neck, upper arms, abdomen, buttocks, hips, thighs, knees, calves, and ankles.

Can Liposuction Be Done On More Than One Area At The Same Time?

Liposuction can be done on more than one area at the same time if the amount of fat removed does not exceed the recommended amount within the limits of safety.

How Long Is Recovery After Liposuction?

Every person’s outcome will vary based on factors such as volume of fat cells removed and area/s of removal. Under most circumstances, liposuction is an outpatient procedure. Depending on the areas treated, most people are able to return to work within a few days to a week and to most normal activities within two to three weeks.

Immediately, after surgery, it is necessary to continuously wear a support garment for three to four weeks. Bruising, swelling and soreness can be expected for at least a few weeks.

Are The Results Of Liposuction Permanent?

Liposuction may be performed in a surgeon’s office-based facility, in an outpatient surgery center, or in a hospital. Smaller-volume liposuction is usually done on an outpatient basis for reasons of cost and convenience. If a large volume of fat will be removed, or if the liposuction is being performed in conjunction with other procedures, a stay in a hospital or overnight nursing facility may be required.

How Long Does Liposuction Take?

The time to perform liposuction may vary considerably, generally requiring between one to four hours, depending on the size of area, the amount of fat being removed, the type of anesthesia and the technique being used.

How Do I Prepare For Liposuction?

Prior to your surgical procedure, your surgeon will perform a complete health history and physical examination to evaluate your overall weight, your skin and muscle tone and overall distribution of fat deposits. Knowledge of your allergies, medications and previous surgeries should be brought to your surgeon’s attention at this time. Specific instructions to assist you in preparing for this procedure will be given to you after the health history and physical are complete.

Instructions will be given that include guidelines regarding your diet, alcohol intake, smoking and which medications to take and avoid. You should also make arrangements ahead of time for someone to drive you to and from your procedure and to assist you with your daily activities during your recovery period.

What Can I Expect After My Liposuction Procedure?

Don’t expect to feel or to look great following your surgery. Even though the newer techniques are believed to reduce post-operative discomforts, you may still experience some pain, burning, swelling, bleeding and temporary numbness. You will be wearing a snug elastic garment over the treated areas to control swelling and bruising immediately following your surgery.

You may also experience some drainage from the incisions sites for a day or two following surgery. Pain can be controlled with medicates prescribed by your plastic surgeon, though you still may feel stiff and sore for several days.

When Can I Resume My Normal Activities?

Healing following liposuction is usually gradual. You will be encouraged to start walking around as soon as possible to reduce swelling and to prevent any possible blood clot from forming in your legs. You usually are able to return to work within a few days and will begin to feel progressively better over the next two weeks.

Strenuous activity should be avoided for about a month as your body continues to heal. Although most of the swelling and bruising usually resolve in the first four to six weeks, final results of surgery may not be fully realized for six months or longer after surgery.

How Is The Cost Of Liposuction Determined?

The cost of liposuction is determined by several factors: In what geographic area do you live? Anesthesiologist and plastic surgeons fees? Where will your surgery be done, in the hospital, surgery center, or office? The number of areas requiring liposuction? An exact quote will be given at the conclusion of your consultation with a plastic surgeon following examination and evaluation.

Can I have more than one area treated at the same time?

Yes, more than one area can be injected at the same time.

By: Dave Stringham

About the Author:

Liposuction is a successful cosmetic procedure that removes fat deposits from targeted areas on the body. Liposuction has many uses, most typically for the abdomen, buttocks, thighs, hips and arms. Also resourceful in combination with other cosmetic procedures, liposuction can enhance the results of a facelift or abdominoplasty.

Having surgery is a serious decision. Regardless of the complexity of your procedure, emotional preparation is essential. Read on for advice on how to mentally prepare for liposuction.

Mentally Prepare for Liposuction With Research

Preparing for a liposuction procedure should begin well in advance of the pre-operative appointment. You can gather a wealth of information about liposuction online, at DocShop.com. Review helpful patient education articles and discover the benefits and limitation associated with liposuction surgery. Access the surgeon’s directory for help locating a qualified liposuction doctor.

Do you know someone who has had liposuction? Ask friends for advice about the procedure. Friends with experience can give you insider tips on ways to mentally prepare for liposuction.

Mentally Prepare for Liposuction With a Consultation

Locate an experienced liposuction doctor and schedule a pre-operative appointment. Open communication is essential for ensuring that you and the surgeon are on the same page. Describe the dissatisfaction with your appearance, and explain your expectations from liposuction surgery. The surgeon will provide details about the benefits, limitations and risks.

The liposuction doctor will conduct a medical examination, evaluating your physical and emotional health. Be prepared to answer some questions about work and personal life. Individuals under abnormal levels of stress will be advised to postpone the procedure.

Advice on How to Choose Your Liposuction Doctor

Part of being mentally prepared rests on the confidence you have in the surgeon and medical staff. A qualified cosmetic surgeon is board certified by an accredited organization, such as the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Ask for details regarding his or her experience performing liposuction surgery.

Before accepting the financial responsibility, be fully aware of liposuction prices and financing options. The cost for liposuction varies, depending on the volume and type of procedure. Your surgeon’s fee does not include other factors that contribute to the price, such as anesthesia and operating facility.

Understand the Benefits and Limitations of Liposuction

For the right individual, liposuction can restore confidence, both inside and out. A good candidate for liposuction is physically healthy and psychologically sound. Liposuction is cosmetic contouring, not a tool for weight loss.

You should also have realistic expectations for what liposuction can do for you, as well as, a clear understanding for potential risks. Patients with realistic expectations are usually seeking treatment for stubborn fat deposits. Ideals for dramatic change are unsafe and unrealistic.

Mentally Prepare for Liposuction by Understanding the Risks

Liposuction is a fairly safe and straightforward procedure. However, all surgical procedures carry some uncertainty. Recognizing the risks is vital in order to mentally prepare for liposuction. Some potential complications include infection, adverse reaction to anesthesia, nerve damage, blood clots, scars and excessive bleeding. You can lower the risks by carefully following the doctor’s instructions.

Mentally Prepare for Liposuction by Understanding the Recovery Process

You are likely to experience a moderate level of pain during the first few days after liposuction surgery. Swelling and bruising are also common, and should dissipate over time. Due to post-operative fluid retention, you may also experience some weight gain. Plan to resume most normal activities within two weeks.

Bear in mind, liposuction results occur gradually. It takes some time for your body to adjust to the procedure. Apparent results can take up to four months. On the other hand, many patients consider the liposuction healing period secondary to the results.

By: Kendra Wagner

About the Author:

Thanks to Hollywood, many people struggle to attain the perfect appearance. It even seems that life today is defined by how beautiful or gorgeous one looks. So it is not surprising that in the quest for the flawless face and body, almost everybody is ready to take the risk and go under the knife if necessary just to achieve that perfect figure, the ideal nose, those shapely legs, or a blotless skin.

Take the case of cellulite. Through a cosmetic procedure called liposuction, the appearance of cellulite in the body can be corrected or eliminated. Wonderful results have been observed from those who had liposuction. But is liposuction really that effective as touted to be?

Liposuction is a dainty name for a surgical cosmetic procedure by which fat cells or fatty deposits are removed. In fact, people consider liposuction and cellulite to be inseparable. Most people who have large cellulite deposits believe that liposuction is their way out of the flabby problem they’re in. Cool huh? Not quite. Just like any other surgical cosmetic procedure, liposuction can have its dangers; and before you even become a believer, you should know about the risks and blunders of liposuction.

First, liposuction can cause embolism. This condition occurs when major blood vessels are blocked by particles like fat. As liposuction is a surgical procedure that basically loosens fat deposits, risks are high that loosened fat particles may enter blood vessels that have been punctured during the operation. When embolism happens, trapped fat particles may be pushed and deposited in the lungs or brain and can cause death.

Second, liposuction can cause swelling that may last for several weeks. The swelling mostly occurs on the areas where the operation was performed. In some severe cases, the skin that covers the area where liposuction was done may risk necrosis or localized death of body tissues. When this happens, the affected skin must be shed off or it may become a breeding ground for harmful microorganisms.

Third, liposuction can create puncture wounds to your organs. If the professional conducting the operation fails to see or properly hold the flexible tube that is inserted during liposuction, the tube can pierce through other organs in your body. In fact, there have been cases where the patient’s intestines were damaged during liposuction.

Finally, as liposuction essentially vacuums away the fat deposits underneath your skin, you will find that not all cellulite lumps will be ****** away. When this happens, the tissues under your skin will have uneven layers as some parts will have no fat deposits while other parts will be bulging with cellulite. Hence, liposuction can worsen skin texture and appearance since the orange-peel effect and undulations on the skin will be more visible.

Nonetheless, even at the presence of the above-mentioned risks and drawbacks of liposuction, it still is a popular surgical cosmetic procedure against cellulite. Again, the people’s desire to attain the perfect figure in the shortest possible time and with the least efforts, make liposuction the procedure of choice. So, nobody can really blame them.

If you are considering having liposuction to remove your cellulite, just keep in mind that you will need to undergo additional skin care treatment methods. Liposuction can not be the be-all and end-all of your fight against cellulite because this procedure may leave your skin loose and dimpled.

However, if you do not want to go under the knife in your quest for a cellulite-free body, you can use products and applications that can give you the same results. Even if these products need a longer time frame than liposuction before the effects can be observed, they can relatively be safer and cheaper. You can also use these applications to improve your skin after you had liposuction. Among these products is Celluthin and for more information about it, visit www.Celluthin.com.

Depending on whether you believe the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) or the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), liposuction is either the most popular or the second most popular form of plastic surgery, after ****** augmentation. What makes liposuction so popular? Liposuction is popular because it targets the fundamental elements of the aesthetic form of the body, making it both effective and universally applicable.

The Rare Human Body

The human body has a number of unusual features. Not only does it feature the commonly- praised large brain and the opposable thumb that are ostensibly responsible for our evolutionary rise from animals to civilized beings, but it has another less commonly praised anomalous structure: a layer of subcutaneous fat which is currently shared by only one other class of terrestrial mammals: pigs. This layer of fat, partly responsible for the wick effect that is behind so-called “Spontaneous Human Combustion,” is shared by many aquatic mammals (although in them it is called “blubber”), leading some evolutionary theorists to postulate for an aquatic phase in human evolution that would also account for the relative hairlessness of the human body.

However, despite the oft-touted affinity of the human baby for water, it is more likely that the subcutaneous layer of fat has another purpose in common with hairlessness: it is aesthetic in purpose. The subcutaneous layer of fat gives shape and softness to the human body, a cushion for the visible and tactile surface that makes humans attractive to one another. Because this subcutaneous layer of fat is specifically there to make us look good, liposuction, which targets this layer of fat, becomes a key element in what is known as body contouring, the shaping of the body. In liposuction, a narrow tube, or cannula, is inserted into the fat layer, then suction is used to remove fat through the tube.

Universal Applicability

Nearly every cosmetic surgical procedure that is performed today can be enhanced or accented with the use of liposuction. In the face, a facelift or necklift can either be enhanced or even replaced with a liposuction, which can provide proper definition for a neck area in which fat has accumulated, leading to a poor definition of the jawline and chin. The aesthetic effect of a ****** augmentation can be enhanced by the reduction of fat deposits in the abdominal area, and any tummy tuck procedure would most likely provide incomplete results without some measure of liposuction. Liposuction can be used on the arms, the legs, the upper and lower back, the flanks, virtually everywhere. The majority of cosmetic surgeons will not use it on a woman’s breasts, although they do use it for the reduction of swollen ******* (Gynecomastia) in men.

Diverse Techniques

Liposuction is also not a single, unified field of practice. There are many different forms of liposuction available, including:

· Traditional liposuction, which is performed as above

· Tumescent liposuction, in which the area to be treated is injected with a high amount of fluid intended to make the procedure more effective with less ancillary tissue damage

· Power-assisted liposuction, in which a moving gouge on the end of the cannula breaks up the fatty tissue, making the procedure faster

· Ultrasonic liposuction, in which ultrasound is used to cause the fat cells to burst, ideally removing fat preferentially without doing too much damage to surrounding tissues

· Laser-assisted liposuction, in which a laser is used to burst fat cells during suction

All these liposuction techniques are designed to perform some parts of the liposuction process better, whether the removal of fat, or the minimizing of damage to surrounding tissues, or the speed of the procedure. While all liposuction will lead to you experiencing some pain and needing downtime for recovery, the type of procedure and your doctor’s technique can make a big difference in the area. Before working with any plastic surgeon, talk to former patients about their experience in terms of not only the effectiveness of the procedure (which can be seen in before and after pictures), but also about the patients’ experiences with the doctor and with recovery.

By: Patricia Woloch

About the Author:

Statistics show that even though abdominal liposuction is expensive, it is also one of the most performed interventions to loose weight in the United States. Abdominal liposuction surgery takes approximately couple of hours depending from person to person however, you will need to undergo a series of physical examination before you undergo the operation in order to ensure that you are physically fit and will not face any major complications from it so it can heal quickly.

The procedure itself is not complicated however, the healing process may take a few months during which time you will have to be on a strict diet as prescribed by the doctor and also follow the medication treatment as directed in order to help the procedure heal as soon as possible.

Many are horrified at the sight immediately after the operation as the area is bruised and lumps may form where the fat was extracted but that it temporary and it will all disappear in matter is months.

The Risks of Abdominal Liposuction

Abdominal liposuction will relieve you of a few pounds at a time so, don’t expect miracles overnight; it is highly recommended for those who has put up 10 –15 pounds and is ready to diet as well as exercise in order to maintain a shapely form and a healthy body.

Obese people may not see a great improvement unless they undergo multiple sessions during a period of time as the doctor cannot perform another produce unless the first is healed enough to support another liposuction.

Statistics also show that 1 person in 100,000 diet due to abdominal liposuction however, most of those cases were because the patient did not follow the diet and after liposuction procedures, which are even more important then the liposuction itself in order to make the whole procedure a success. If you have decided to undergo abdominal liposuction it is because you want to improve your appearance and overall health therefore, you can make it a success with determination and strong will power.

The popularity of liposuction in the U.S. can not be denied but is it safe? Many prospective patients are opting for more advanced forms of liposuction which include ultrasonic liposuction and tumescent liposuction. If you are considering having this procedure you should be sure to ask the doctor what specific methods he will be using so that you can understand the risks.

Ultrasonic liposuction, otherwise known as ultrasonic-assisted liposuction or UAL, is an advanced procedure used by liposuction doctors to assist them in removing body fats more efficiently and effectively. Body shaping procedures like liposuction are as much an art as a science. By using this tool to assist in breaking up the fat cells the surgeon can remove more fat, more easily. Ultrasonic liposuction works by using “ultrasonic energy” to break up fat cells in certain areas and converting these unwanted fats into oil. The areas involved are usually the flanks, back, hips, upper abdomen and areas where you have had liposuction before. These areas have been found to be more complicated than others.

The Procedure Itself

Ultrasonic liposuction uses a generator. As with traditional liposuction a vacuum is involved but this one is specifically designed for this. Fatty areas are better identified by injecting them with tumescent fluids. Then, a canula with an ultrasonic probe is attached to the generator and suction vacuum. As the canula passes through the fat, the energy breaks down fat cells and converts them to oil. This oil will then blend with the tumescent fluids to form a mixture that can be easily ****** out through the canula.

Currently ultrasonic liposuction is not considered a replacement for traditional liposuction because in most cases the same outcome can be expected. It can be used in conjunction with traditional procedures because it can easily reduce or treat fats that have been difficult to remove using traditional liposuction.

What are the risks associated with Ultrasonic Liposuction?

There are more complications and risks associated with this procedure than with traditional liposuction. These include:

*Burning of the patient’s skin

*Possible scarring from the burns

*Blood Clots

*Injury to the sensory nerves

The use of ultrasonic energy for this purpose is new so many of the long term risks are not yet known. There have been some studies that have shown a relationship between exposure to ultrasound and damage to the peripheral nerves. More so in sensitive areas like the face and neck. The heat of given off by the procedure can burn as well as cause blood clots to form.

All the above said the use of ultrasonic liposuction is growing because it can help the surgeon remove more fat than traditional methods. The equipment costs more so the cost of ultrasonic liposuction is higher than traditional liposuction. It may be worth it particularly if you find you need a lot of fat removed in areas like the back and upper abdomen. The trouble areas that benefit from the use of ultrasonic liposuction are usually the ones men need done. Whether you are male or female the results may be worth the added risks.

By: Rebecca Knight

About the Author:

est Beverly Hills Liposuction Surgeon

The most important thing to consider in picking the most reliable Beverly Hills liposuction doctor is to make a research on his or her reputation. Ask around for past and satisfied clients to know the doctor’s standards, ethical beliefs and experience in performing liposuction.

Unfortunately, not every Beverly Hills liposuction surgeon with convincing before and after pictures of their clients can guarantee a risk free procedure. Because of this, it is important to choose the best Beverly Hills liposuction surgeon not only to get rid of unwanted body fats, but also to ensure that the procedure will not raise any complications.

While you may prefer the fastest way of getting rid of your unwanted fats, it is more important to consider safety before anything else. When shopping around for a Beverly Hills liposuction surgeon, ask each of the doctors about the daily limit of liposuction that a patient can have performed. Generally, four liters of aspirate (fluid and fat) removed from a patient is the safest daily amount. Anything more than this amount could be too dangerous.

Things to Avoid and Look for in a Beverly Hills Liposuction Doctor

Most deaths associated with liposuction occurred due to excessive liposuction procedures or another surgical procedure is performed during the same day. For this reason, it is important to look for a surgeon who follows a limit for liposuction per day (preferably four liters of aspirate) and suggests a later schedule for treating other body parts during a single day (preferably one month after the recent procedure). It is also important to look for doctors who do not allow patients to undergo liposuction after a surgical procedure during the same day as the liposuction.

While you may be faced with hundreds of different liposuction surgeons with your search, it is important that you weigh all the information before deciding on the doctor. Be aware that even liposuction could yield amazing benefits; it could also be a potentially deadly procedure when performed by the wrong hands.

After narrowing down around ten Beverly Hills liposuction surgeons that follow the above principles, you should consider these several factors – board certification, expertise in treating complications and possible cardiac situations and an accredited liposuction training both in the classroom and operating room.

By: Lee Milne

About the Author:

The main goals of the arm liposuction surgery are to improve an arm’s disproportionate appearance as compared to the rest of the body, to inspire the patient to feel more comfortable and less self-conscious while wearing a short sleeved or sleeveless blouse, and finally to achieve a thinner appearance of the arms, especially when the arms are in a relaxed position.

The goal of the surgery should not be to remove as much fat as possible. This can result in skinny, disproportionate arms.

All about Arm Liposuction

Arm liposuction is usually performed in about two to four hours, and it is generally performed as an outpatient surgery. This means that it usually is not necessary for a patient to stay in the hospital during recovery. Arm liposuction is usually done using a local anesthetic, and so the pain involved is usually minimal. Recovery is fairly quick, usually lasting from one to three weeks. Generally, patients can return to work one week after the surgery, although each doctor will have a different recommendation.

Arm liposuction is one of the liposuction procedures with the highest success and satisfaction rate. However, one of the things that can go wrong during arm liposuction is that the surgeon can remove too much fat. Besides looking unnaturally thin, this will give the arm a bumpy appearance. The bumpy appearance will only be enhanced if the patient gains any weight.

So if your “problem area” is your arms, then consider arm liposuction. The procedure is fairly quick, the recovery time is fairly short, and the majority of the people are satisfied with the results. Are you ready to wear that bikini this summer? Are you tired of hiding your arms under long sleeved shirts? Give arm liposuction a try! You won’t regret taking this step to becoming the new and improved you.

By: Lee Milne

About the Author:

Liposuction and Surgery in the Philippines

In the industry of liposuction in the Philippines, very few licensed Filipino cosmetic surgeons specializing in hi-definition vaser liposuction surgery offer their services locally. Most of them go abroad or serve other nationalities from other countries for a higher income. On the other hand, this incident proves that surgery and liposuction in the Philippines is relatively very low contributing to the increase in getting surgery services as well as liposuction. Since there are different cosmetic surgery services with each having their own varying prices, I decided to make this article and help those who are looking for the right service and the right professionals in the field of cosmetic surgery and liposuction in the Philippines.

Common Liposuction and Surgery Services

To start off, allow me to list below some of the most popular services that one can avail regarding services of a professional and licensed cosmetic surgery for men and women. Also for your information and guidance, the process involved in surgery has a general procedure and technique called as body contouring. This is a standard general term used for such services while on the other hand there is a lot of varying cosmetic surgery prices corresponding with each type of service.

Common ****** Surgery Services

As an initial tip, before undergoing any treatment or surgery in our breast, please be advised that you have to check for qualifications of your physician in terms of standards as well as have an initial check up of your personal condition. In the case of the different plastic surgery and surgeons in the Philippines, they have to possess professional license as well as know about the latest technology in their profession. This will serve as a strong indication that your surgeon is just what you are looking for. Just FYI, the latest technology in liposuction in the Philippines offered by licensed cosmetic surgeons is called as vaser liposuction and liposelection. Also you should first know the risks and know it outright by asking for an initial result analysis on your pre-surgery checkup.

breast augmentation ****** lift ****** liposuction ****** reduction ****** enhancement gynecomastia treatment using vaser technology

Common Face Lift Service

upper eyelid surgery or eye deepsetting or double eyelid creation eyebags removal noselift or rhinoplasty facelift and browlift wrinkle removal freckle removal

Basic Qualifications of a Cosmetic Surgeon in the Philippines

cosmetic surgery license board certified liposuction surgery professional or board-eligible plastic surgeon member of duly recognized cosmetic surgeons association in the Philippines must have at least attended 5-6 years of formal training in cosmetic surgery in an accredited and duly recognized hospital in the Philippines years of practice, credentials and experience as a whole must at least possess hospital privileges consultation treatment and analysis of results must be well defined and conclusive clinics attended and hospitals served

Vaser Liposelection in the Philippines

The latest technology used by most plastic surgeons and liposuction professionals in the Philippines is called as Vaser Liposelection. This procedure is today’s most advance fat-removal technology in the liposuction and cosmetic surgery Philippines. This procedure is also a patented trademark used to remove all sorts of fats in the body of a person. It involves various body parts such as stomach, waist, buttocks, breasts, hips, knees, chest, neck, chin, back, arms, thighs and ankle. This technology is a selective procedure that allows the surgeon to select tissues to remove unwanted fat cells with the use of ultrasonic technology.

Aside from this latest liposuction technology being proven effective and skillfully advisable today by most surgeons compared to the traditional surgery methods, it is now widely recognized by all professional surgeons and liposuction professional in the Philippines. Using this technique also offer less pain as well as bruises and is also proven to offer a much faster recovery time for the patient. This is because the incision made by the surgeon with this process is literally smaller so they heal quickly than any other types of surgery. Vaser liposelection is also good in body contouring and sculpting which is offered for those who already have good body form but would like to enhance it more.

How Much Does Surgery Cost and Can You Afford It?

How much does a liposuction or a surgery cost? This is usually the first question asked by those who are interested to seek services on liposuction or surgery in the Philippines or anywhere in the world. My personal opinion is that if you are to have a procedure done in the United States ore anywhere in the world, it is more likely that it will cost you more than it would if you have it done in the Philippines. The reasons is pretty easy to understand and almost no need for further explanation, however, if your basis of having a job done for you on such a sensitive matter, your choices should not be influenced by the PRICE but instead it should be based on the surgeon who will do the job. In this case, to arrive with excellent results, try to consider the different qualifications I have listed above. I’m pretty sure that it will do you best if you really want to look good and feel good with the use of liposuction or surgery in the Philippines.

Advancements in methods of fat removal by liposuction continue to change and be improved. One of the most noteworthy methods that is currently marketed and touted is laser liposuction, or more accurately, laser-assisted liposuction.

As opposed to the traditional technique of a hollowed-out cannula insertion, loosening and beating up the fat tissue, and then ******* it out, this mechanical particulation is replaced by the heat of laser energy. Inside the liposuction cannula, fibers carrying laser light deliver their heat to the targeted fat breaking it down into a liquid ‘soup’ which can be suctioned out. Theoretically, the skin in the areas overlying where the liposuction was done may get tighter due to the heat from the laser.

As of this date, there are three such laser-assisted liposuction systems available in the United States. They are under the marketed tradenames of SMARTLIPO (Cynosure), COOLLIPO (CoolTouch), and PROLIPO (Sctiton). All of them tout more effective and efficient fat removal, less bruising and swelling after the procedure, a faster recovery, and some skin tightening and improvement in the appearance of cellulite over the treated areas.

The real question is….are they truly better than basic liposuction…and are their increased costs over traditional liposuction worth it? (someone has to pay for the equipment purchase…and that someone is you the patient!) To date, laser-assisted liposuction is tremendously appealing, particularly to the general public. In the past, any medical treatment that included the word, laser, always enamors the public. No clinical trials have yet been reported however, that I have seen, that have ever directly compared any laser-assisted vs traditional liposuction procedure in patients. No clinical trial, large or small, has yet been done that has compared the results of any touted liposuction method in a prospective, controlled clinical study. FDA approval of these devices implies that they are safe for patient use but that does not mean they are necessarily more effective than other liposuction methods.

Much like ultrasonic-assisted liposuction when it was introduced 10 years ago, laser-assisted liposuction may be a popular trend that, in the end, will fare no better. It will undoubtably have its place in liposuction options and armamentarium but I doubt if it is magic or whether it offers a quantum leap forward in patient outcomes and recovery times. While it is another method of removing fat, I remain skeptical if all of the marketing claims of laser-assisted liposuction such as a quicker recovery and skin tightening can live up to the hype.

I am all for any form of advancement in liposuction, which is a fairly traumatic procedure on the tissues. While effective, liposuction is still one of the most ‘brutal’ procedures that we as plastic surgeons do. Is laser-assted liposuction a better method of liposuction?…..ask me again in 5 years!

By: Dr Barry Eppley

About the Author:

By: Stephen Campbell

About the Author:

Liposuction is a surgical procedure performed by plastic surgeons and is used to remove fatty deposits from areas of the body which have not responded to attempts at weight loss and exercise.

While liposuction is never an alternative to losing weight or exercising, it can be a wonderful complement for areas for which weight loss and exercise have not corrected them to an acceptable level.

Liposuction can be performed on most anywhere on the human body where there are fat deposits. Let’s take a quick look at some of the most popular liposuction options available to you today:

Facial Liposuction

If you have a lot of fat around your eyes, in your cheeks or in your chin area, liposuction can be done to remove it. Oftentimes, liposuction is part of an eye lift or face lift. In addition it can be used to remove a double chin which has been caused by aging, especially in men.

Chest Liposuction

Liposuction procedures of the chest are commonly performed on men. Often men have excess fat on their chest area, especially as they age, which exercise and diet alone cannot remove.

Once a man is down to his ideal weight and is exercising regularly with a nice muscle build-up, liposuction can remove the excess fat and greatly improve the look of his chest area.

Abdominal Liposuction

Abdominal liposuction can be used to remove those stubborn fat deposits which cannot be worked off though abdominal exercises. Once a man or a woman has done all they can for the area through exercise and diet, a bit of liposuction can make a world of difference in how the abdominal area looks.

Back and Side Liposuction

One thing that comes with age is fat deposits on the back and sides of your body. While many areas of the body can be exercised well, the back and “love handle” areas are two which are had to control through exercise alone. Removal of love handles and back fat are two of the most popular liposuction procedures performed today.

Arm Liposuction

As we age, especially women, our upper arms can begin to become loose and floppy. Liposuction can help to reduce the fat in this area quiet well and extra procedures can assist in removing the excess skin of the area to being arms back to their youthful appearance of the past.

Buttocks Liposuction

Once the buttocks have been worked regularly through exercise, and your ideal weight has been reached through a proper diet, liposuction of the buttock region can be used to remove cellulite and other stubborn fat deposits.

Leg and Knee Liposuction

One of the most common places to have liposuction today is on the inner thighs and knees. Fat deposits on the inner thighs can be particularly stubborn and to really get a good contour on the body, liposuction can be used to remove that fat. In addition, as we age we often collect fat on our knee area. Liposuction can remove knee fat and help your legs to look much slimmer and better shaped.

As you can clearly see, liposuction can be performed on many areas of the human body. To decide if liposuction is right for you, schedule a consultation appointment with a Board Certified plastic surgeon in your area.

By: Abigail Aaronson

About the Author:
